Jim Faughnan practices in the areas of commercial law, education law, and employment law. Over the past 30 years, Jim has represented clients ranging in size from Fortune 500 companies to individual clients. Jim served as a Certified Public Accountant before earning his law degree. This background gives him a sophisticated understanding of financial matters that he brings to his legal practice. Lawyers of Distinction has recognized Jim as one of the Top Rated Lawyers in Virginia.
Jim has served as lead counsel in several trials in federal and state courts and has successfully argued appeals and motions in federal and state courts. He is a member of the Virginia State and District of Columbia Bars.
In addition to his legal practice, Jim has also been an Adjunct Professor at George Mason University.
